My family has done this for as long as I can remember. We do it every Easter morning. The day before Easter on Easter Saturday the food is blessed and that is called "Swieconka" Then Easter morning we mix the hard boiled eggs and slices of ham with polish sausage. We add horseradish root that is slices up too. Sometimes it is all fried together or can be served cold. I like it cooked. My grandfather was from Krakow Poland and came here around 1930 and the family has been doing this ever since. I hope to carry this tradition down to my own children.
