subject: Soup Thickeners
Hello,,,
I have been making soup for some time,, however have now went to making cream soups for my family. I have tried to freeze the cream soups for later use, however, they turn to water when I thaw them. I've also noticed if I try to make them in a crock pot, they stay thick for a while.. then turn to water losing both the thickness and taste. Is there something I should use other than corn starch or cheese to thicken them.. and keep them thick? Thank you
