I don't have a "recipe" but here is how you make it:
Have the butcher cut some round steak into roulladen strips. They are readily available.
Lay out the strips (usually about 9" long and 4" wide) on the counter. Spread dijon mustard on each strip. Dice half a pound of bacon and an onion. Mix together. Place a little mound at the end of each piece of meat. Place a half a pickle on top of each mound. Roll up. Secure with a toothpick. Brown in heavy fry pan on all sides. Turn down the heat to low, add 1.5 cups of water and simmer for 1.5 hours. Remove rolls. Make a gravy from remaining juices. Serve with Red Cabbage (in the jar) and fried potatoes. YUM.
