Cooking columns

Love your whole idea here...just got the website from another area that I was researching. I write a food column for a local newspaper and my editor only wants to use local recipes no reproductions. That is not a problem. I would like some other ideas regarding themes to base articles on. I use the traditional holidays but I thought someone out there might have other ideas that I might use. I am always researching and am excited that so many people are into cooking these days. Grateful for any responses. Thank you.
