Wine World Series: Napa vs. Sonoma

Who Won Global Gourmet's Wine World Series, Napa or Sonoma?

For our Wine World Series, we matched the two best wine districts in the New World, Napa vs. Sonoma. Each team had 45 members. For example, in the first inning the five best Napa Chardonnays were up against the five best Sonoma Chardonnays.

Here are the winners by inning:

Conclusion

So Sonoma won our Wine World Series, but Napa was only a sip behind.

 

And a Final Wine Smile

We're honored that a major Napa Valley winery concludes its newsletter with one of our Final Smiles about Winston Churchill when he was a member of Parliament.

Here it is:

A female member of the opposition party confronted him after a heated debate and said: "Winston, if you were my husband, I'd put poison in your wine!"

Winston: "Madam, if I were your husband...I'd drink it."
