Every year since 1994, when we launched our original website, the electronic Gourmet Guide, the Global Gourmet's staff take some time off to enjoy the summer. But we've never left our readers out in the cold, or out in the heat, without first racking up scores of recipes and articles to get them through the summer—tastefully, and in style.
If you want to fire up the summer grilling season with at least one new cookbook and one new recipe to add to the festivities, the toughest thing will be figuring out which to sample.

In fact, you could cook up a new recipe every day and never make the same thing twice-unless it becomes a personal favorite, of course.
