1 package date bar mix
2/3 cup hot water
3 eggs
1/4 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons light molasses
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup raisins
1 cup red and green candied cherries
Grease and flour a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Combine date bar mix and water until crumbly. Add eggs, flour, baking powder, molasses and spices. Fold in nuts, raisins and cherries. Pour into pan. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 80 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool.
