| 5C During deconstruction: These two walls couldn't be knocked down, so we later sealed up the passageway on the left wall near the corner, turning this area into the main walls of the new kitchen. Note the black pipe running vertically in the passageway—this is the vent installed to run from the new kitchen sink up and out through the roof. The large silver area on the right wall is the duct for the fan in the microwave oven, which also vents up and out through the roof. |
