December 2002 Gourmet Guess Contest Prize

Thermometer

The new Wine Thermometer from Component Design Northwest (CDN) accurately measures a wine's temperature to ensure the perfect serving temperature every time. The Wine Thermometer functions as a cork with a 7-inch stem that reaches down into the wine bottle for an accurate temperature reading. It features a large 1-3/4-inch easy-read dial with color-coded readout to let you know what temperature range you are in—champagne, sweet whites, dry whites, light reds, full reds and cellar. The thermometer measures from 40 to 70 degrees F (4 to 21 degrees C).

The CDN Wine Thermometer comes with two bonus stoppers and a protective sheath for storage. Suggested retail price $12.99.
