This Week on the Web
Pick any kitchen appliance by brand name and do a search for it on the internet. You'll be surprised at just how many of these appliance-makers have websites. And if you think, "so what, I can live without another advertisement" think again. Take the KitchenAid site, for example, what you get is great appliance-specific information and a whole lot more. Submit your favorite recipe and you might win a countertop appliance. Answer the trivia question correctly and you'll find yourself in the running for a new stand-up mixer. Sure, they may have you sucked in by now, but wait there's more...and it's good stuff.
A visit to their Kitchen Talk feature lets you peruse original recipes from their cookbook or check out those submitted by guests in their contests. And if you do win, do you really know the right way to use your kitchen appliance? Even if your appliances aren't KitchenAid products, the Expert Tips page offers some pretty nifty techniques for mixing, processing and blending. If you have a more specific question, concern or gripe, there's always the Press Room where you can submit your query. Lastly, if you want to send someone special a little reminder that it's their turn to host Thanksgiving dinner this year, you can always select Gift Wrap and order a KitchenAid product online that will ease their burden and put your mind at ease.
