Do You Eat Grapes with Chopsticks?

Table grapes are the first California commodity, joining Washington State's apples and cherries, to be officially allowed into China. This week's agreement between the U.S. and China could open a potentially huge market for American produce, though tariffs on table grapes will be as high as 45 percent. Despite the tariffs, the California Table Grape Commission sees a potential market of 25-50 million dollars the first year. A Washington State apple spokesperson said their apples have been priced so high they can't compete. U.S. Trade officials are expected to insist that China embrace the Word Trade Organization's standards in order to make imports to China competitive.

Fresh Air with Your Espresso, Sir?

Oxygen bars are opening in Los Angeles. "I'm not sure if oxygen bars will work," says humorist Alex Kaseberg. "Folks here are used to their air chunky style."

"There will be two oxygen flavors for people from New York," continues Kaseberg, "Garbage Strike and Subway Musk."
