In the Air

Rules & Regs

Flying on an airplane is far different from dining in a restaurant. Once you enter airplane territory, your rights are legally controlled by others. Regulations about space, weather, food, equipment, schedules and endless other aspects all contribute to your experience. Abide by them rather than fight them and your journey will be far more pleasant. The flight attendants do what they can to make your trip enjoyable, but there is only so much they can control and the rest is up to you and your attitude.

With the Kids

Bring whatever you can to keep your little ones entertained—coloring books, cards, toys. Don't forget to bring special supplies too, like diapers, wipes, lotion, etc. A favorite snack for youngsters can help keep them occupied. Request seats at a bulkhead where there's more room to roam.

Drinking Alcohol

Know your limits. Every alcoholic beverage consumed in flight equals three on the ground. If you are planning to drink, bring some small bills along so the attendant doesn't need to make change.
