CookieRecipe.comReview by Debbie Mazo You may encounter digital cookies when surfing the Net, but if you want to
find out more about the kind of cookies that melt in your mouth, then Grab an apron and search through the enormous database of recipes at CookieRecipe.com.
This site is packed with recipes organized alphabetically or by category. Searching
by category lets you select from 10 different types of cookies ranging from No
Bake Cookies to Sugar Free Cookies. You can also use the site's excellent search utility which retrieves recipes by ingredients or keywords. Click on one of the categories and you'll find dozens of offerings. Bar Cookies serves up everything from Baked Cheesecake Squares to White Chocolate Macadamia Bars. If you're looking for something more traditional, try the Drop Cookies category which includes several variations of Chocolate Chip Cookies and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. When you find the cookie recipe of your dreams, you can display it in standard or metric units, print to a full page or double-sided 3"x 5" index card, or email it to a friend. CookieRecipe.com is a lot more than your basic recipe collection. The site has a daily favorite (the current choice was a tempting Polish Poppy Seed Cookie), a weekly top 10 representing the most popular recipes at the site, and helpful hints like how to avoid the "flat cookies syndrome". If you're ready for adventure, you can also spin the Recipe Roulette where you'll be sure to find a great recipe every time. Still want more? Check out the Recipe Exchange where you can submit a request for a recipe or share some of your old favorites with other cookie lovers. Or check out the International Recipes collection which offers everything from Chocolate Mexican Wedding Cookies to Irish Soda Bread Cookies. With all of these great recipes at your fingertips, you'll be able to indulge in your wildest cookie fantasies without ever getting caught with your hands in the cookie jar.
