Now that it's a new year, you're probably thinking about changing your lifestyle. For those with the best of intentions, Living Light has it all: healthy cooking, good nutrition, exercise, and a healthy home life. Focusing on moderation as opposed to sacrifice, Light Living provides nutrition hounds with all kinds of ideas for healthy lifestyle choices.

Having trouble getting motivated? Then, browse the Tips section for ideas on getting started on the road to good eating and clean living. Check out the Tip of the Day or browse the archive for everything from microwave cooking tips to nutrition tips—for example, did you know that chocolate has mood-lifting chemicals such as caffeine and theobromine? Still need some answers to your low-fat, low-cholesterol questions? Then, post them to Momstone (the site's nutrition specialist) or check out the Q&A archive to see if she's already provided some divine guidance on your topic already.

At Light Living, the recipe box is full of great low-fat, low-cholesterol choices. Check in every week for the Recipe of the Week or search through the archive for everything from the Basics (Mushroom Sauce to Smoked Turkey Stock) to Desserts (Bread Pudding to Pumpkin Pie). If you're planning on preparing healthy meals, then sample some of the selections in Main Dishes. For a simple dish, skewer some Lamb Kebabs and serve with a green salad and rice pilaf. Or, stir up a quick and easy Italian classic like Spaghetti with White Clam Sauce and round out the meal with a caesar salad and some crusty bread.

Still have some old favorites that you just can't give up? Then, send them in and they'll be converted to a lower fat, lower cholesterol version. Previous conversions include Low-fat Mashed Potatoes and Better Meatloaf, proving that Light living has all the flavor you'll ever need, but without the fat.
