Pork4Kidshttp://www.pork4kids.com/Review by Debbie Mazo Most parents, at one time or another, struggle to feed their children nutritious meals. In fact, finding healthy choices for your children is easier than you think. Get your children involved with their diet by visiting Pork4Kids, sponsored by the Pork Producer Council. A web site for kids and their families, Pork4Kids offers entertaining puzzles, helpful hints for parents, and interactive recipes.
Browse through Pork4Kids's kid-friendly recipes, and you can transform any mealtime into a rewarding experience. Use the Find a Recipe tool to search for everything from main courses to breakfast dishes to sandwich recipes. If your kids are brown-bagging it, help them prepare Ham Tortilla Roll Ups with fresh grapes for dessert. For a main course, try the Barbecued Pork-And-Potato Casserole topped with Cheddar cheese and green onions. All recipes can be printed in either a small or large format. To play online games and more, travel to the Food Fun Zone. Players can test their luck at the Food Pyramid Puzzle Game, and build a food pyramid to learn about different food groups. Or, make a chef's hat by printing out a template and then assembling it to wear as you cook. For kids of all ages, Pork4Kids serves up a winner with fun activities and healthy choices.
