Most parents, at one time or another, struggle to feed their children nutritious meals. In fact, finding healthy choices for your children is easier than you think. Get your children involved with their diet by visiting Pork4Kids, sponsored by the Pork Producer Council. A web site for kids and their families, Pork4Kids offers entertaining puzzles, helpful hints for parents, and interactive recipes.
At Pork4Kids, learn how you can introduce your children to cooking skills to match their ability level. For example, if your children are 3-6 years old, show them how to stir ingredients or tear lettuce to make a salad. Older children (aged 6-8 years old) can help in the kitchen by setting the table or beating ingredients with a whisk.
Browse through Pork4Kids's kid-friendly recipes, and you can transform any mealtime into a rewarding experience. Use the Find a Recipe tool to search for everything from main courses to breakfast dishes to sandwich recipes. If your kids are brown-bagging it, help them prepare Ham Tortilla Roll Ups with fresh grapes for dessert.
